Transfer from La Romana Cruise Ship Port to Punta Cana (Bávaro & Cap Cana)

Our Private Transfer from La Romana Cruise Ship Port to Punta Cana (Bávaro & Cap Cana) is only for you. This means there won’t be any other passengers on the bus. We pick you up at your desired pickup time and drive nonstop, straight from hotel to hotel (or place you are staying).

Taxes for Cruise Ship Port: For pick ups at the Cruise Ship Port the system will charge U$10.00 per passenger automatically at the checkout. We have to pay U$7.50 to the port for each passenger we pick up there and have to prepay this fee to the port. Since we also have to calculate online payment and handling fees we have to charge U$10.00 per passenger. The fact that we prepay this for you spares you a lot of time staying in line to pay this fee manually to the port authorities (passengers are staying sometimes up to 45 min. in this line.Our Private Transfers operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Reservation: You can use our Private Transfers only if you made a reservation. We are not allowed to transport people without a reservation because in this case we would be entering into competition with the regular Taxi Service.

Taxi Fares: Just FYI: a Taxi for up to 4 passengers from La Romana (Cruise Port & Casa de Campo) to Punta Cana (Bavaro) charges approx. $120.00 USD or more and in this case you would have to make the line and pay the cruise port tax by yourself.

Locating the driver at the Cruise Port: Please look for our driver leaving the ship. He will be holding a sign which says “ShopyTours” and/or “Your Name”

Pickup time for your transfer from the hotel to the Airport: You set your pickup time during the booking process. You do not have to reconfirm your pickup time. If you wish to make a change, just give us a call, send us an email or let us know via LiveChat

Our Vehicles: We use only newer vehicles for our transfers. For 1–6 passengers, we use a Hyundai H1 or similar minivan. For 7-9 passengers, we use a Toyota Hiace or similar minibus. For 10–13 passengers, we use a Hyundai H350, Toyota Coaster or similar bus. Please inquire about the price for larger vehicles by calling us, via email or via LiveChat.

Luggage: There is no luggage restriction for our transfers (if you should have excessive luggage – more than 2 pieces per person or Golfclubs – please let us know)

Prices: Prices shown for private transfers are in $ USD and are for the vehicle, not per person.

Taxes & Fees: All other than the cruise port taxes which are explained above are included in the price. Tips to our drivers are always welcome but not mandatory.

Child Car Seats: You will have the option to add up to 2child car seat(s) FOR FREE to your transfer during the booking process. Child car seats are not mandatory in the Dominican Republic.

Cancellation Policy for our Private Transfers: We do not charge cancellation fees or fees for changes. If you’ve paid your transfer or shuttles via PayPal or Credit Card and have to cancel we will refund 100% – no questions asked. Please be fair and try to advise us early if you have to cancel or change your booking. This is important for us because we sometimes have to position our vehicles to locations which are far away in order to pick you up.
