Transfer from Punta Cana (Uvero Alto) to La Romana (Cruise Port & Casa de Campo)

Our Private Transfer from Punta Cana (Uvero Alto) to La Romana (Cruise Port & Casa de Campo) is only for you. This means there won’t be any other passengers on the bus. We pick you up at your desired pickup time and drive nonstop, straight from hotel to hotel (or place you are staying).

If your destination is the La Romana Cruise Port, and you will book a round trip you will have to pay a cruise port fee of $4.00 USD per passenger. Port authorities are charging this fee for all passengers departing the La Romana cruise port. During the booking process you will have an option to add this fee to your transfer order.

Our Private Transfers operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Reservation: You can use our Private Transfers only if you made a reservation. We are not allowed to transport people without a reservation because in this case, we would be entering into competition with the regular Taxi Service.

Taxi Fares: Just FYI: a Taxi for up to 4 passengers from Punta Cana (Uvero Alto) to La Romana (Cruise Port & Casa de Campo) charges approx. $120.00 USD.

Locating the driver at your Hotel: Please look for our driver in the lobby area at the same place you were dropped off. He will be holding a sign which says “ShopyTours” and/or “Your Name”

Pickup time for your transfer from the hotel to the Airport: You set your pickup time during the booking process. You do not have to reconfirm your pickup time. If you wish to make a change, just give us a call or send us an email.

Our Vehicles: We use only newer vehicles for our transfers. For 1–7 passengers, we use a Hyundai Starex or similar minivan. For 8–10 passengers, we use a Toyota Hiace or similar minibus. For 11–16 passengers, we use a Jac Sunray, Toyota Coaster or similar bus. Please inquire about the price for larger vehicles by calling us or through email.

Luggage: There is no luggage restriction for our transfers (if you should have excessive luggage – more than 2 pieces per person – please let us know)

Prices: Prices shown for private transfers are in $ USD and are for the vehicle, not per person.

Forms of Payment: For this transfer, we accept online payments via PayPal or Credit Card.

Taxes & Fees: All taxes and fees are included in the price. Tips to our drivers are always welcome but not mandatory.

Child Car Seats: You will have the option to add a child car seat(s) FOR FREE to your transfer during the booking process. Child car seats are not mandatory in the Dominican Republic.

Cancellation Policy for our Private Transfers: We do not charge cancellation fees or fees for changes. If you’ve paid your transfer or shuttles via PayPal or Credit Card and have to cancel we will refund 100% – no questions asked. Please be fair and try to advise us early if you have to cancel or change your booking. This is important for us because we sometimes have to store our vehicles in locations far away in order to pick you up.
